While on a stroll through a park by Hog’s Back Falls in Ottawa, I noticed this beautiful mushroom growing four feet off the ground on a dead tree branch. It’s smooth creamy appearance contrasted so beautifully with the rough texture of the bark, I knew immediately, I must paint it.
