This painting was inspired by a favourite hiking trail – the Red Hill Valley Trail in Hamilton. I spent many wonderful hours with my friends laughing and enjoying the path’s twists and turns, ups and downs, flora and fauna.  Every season offered beautiful scenes but this section through a pine woods in fresh winter snow is one of my favourites.
