There’s something mysterious about their empty shells and I speculate about the life that once filled them. The subject for this painting came from a trip to the east coast where I discovered this house falling apart but still exuding life, with nature taking up occupancy. If you look carefully, you’ll see the ghostly images of specters who may have stayed on in a home they loved.
